"Holz von Hier" (HVH) or "Low Carbon Timber" (LCT) has recently been part of the EU program LIFE, which is supported by the EU Commission. LIFE is a strong voice for climate protection in the European Union and creates best practice examples through projects whose goals, content and instruments usually continue to be supported by the Commission. HVH and the partners who implement HVH/LCT together in various European countries as well as the existing and emerging country dependencies of HVH/LCT in various EU countries are very proud and grateful to now be part of the "LIFE Community".

The EU Commission writes about the LIFE program: "The new LIFE projects will help Europe become climate neutral by 2050, Europe's biodiversity will recover by 2030 at the latest and help the EU to go green after the COVID-19 pandemic".
